Motion Graphics Designer/Animator(s)

We are looking for talented Motion Graphics Designers / Animators who can transform scripts and visualizations into fluid, highly kinetic motion graphic pieces for screens of all sizes—from large-scale events to websites to mobile devices.

2D animators must be masters of After Effects or Flash. 3D animators must be experts in 3DS Max, Cinema 4D, Maya or equivalent. Being able to seamless move from one to another — and use a tool like Final Cut Pro to bring elements from all of them together — makes you a stronger candidate.

Editor/Motion Graphics Designer(s)

We are looking for talented Editor / Motion Graphics Designers who can transform interview footage and narrative scripts into powerful visual stories and fluid, highly kinetic motion graphic pieces for screens of all sizes—from large-scale events to websites to mobile devices.

You’ll be responsible for: Editing video and film material using Final Cut Pro and other editing/motion graphics software; executing in-house dubs, compression, DVD burning, CD burning, dubouts, scratch track audio recording, audio mixing as needed; and providing client-ready deliverables in appropriate media formats. You must possess considerable creative ability and a solid grasp of artful storytelling, regardless of the subject matter.

Writer

We are seeking a full-time creative Writer.

The ideal Writer has the talent, creative flair, technical polish and business acumen to craft concepts and scripts for high-end online experiences, videos, animations, and games that break the corporate mold.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Originate business-relevant creative concepts
- Write clear, compelling, visual scripts and web copy
- Understand how to successfully translate those scripts from paper to finished production.

CENTERLINE does it all – from idea to script to shoot to finished product – so directing, editing and/or design skills make you a stronger candidate.

Of course, applicants must possess exceptional verbal as well as written communication skills. A strong creative and conceptual vision for projects in myriad media is also paramount. The ability to sell that vision to potential clients completes the process.

The role requires the ability to self-manage time to meet deadlines with the appropriate level of attention and quality. A detail-oriented approach, quick comprehension of technical content, and flawless project execution are very important. You must be comfortable partnering with or directing designers, animators, and editors and working closely with project managers.

Primary job responsibilities include developing creative concepts, planning and writing scripts and copy for use in corporate film and video, websites, animations, multimedia presentations, events/trade shows, serious games and more. You should also be able to assist with directing, developing and crafting new business pitches and proposals. If you can do all this while meeting our clients’ needs and budget/time constraints, as well as satisfying our high standards of quality and creativity, you’re right for the job.

The ideal applicant for this position has a Bachelors Degree (or higher) in a creative or business discipline – but significant experience or training could also be considered. Experience working in an agency or production setting is necessary. Applicants may be asked to complete a mock assignment and the results will be given significant weight in the evaluation process.

Flash and Web Designer/Developer(s)

We are looking for design savvy developers (or interactive designers who can code) to expand our experience design team.

- Solid design skills;
- Working knowledge of ActionScript 3, Flex, HTML, CSS, PHP, XML, MySQL and Javascript;
- Working knowledge (or willingness and ability to quickly learn) AJAX, JSON, Objective C (iPhone SDK), Java, ASP and .NET;
- Solid skill with the full compliment of Adobe Creative Suite;
- Experience with Zinc, mProjector, or other runtime compiler;
- Ability to balance multiple projects that could be done independently, or as part of a team.
